on the MR2 Owners Club Message Board
There are various
ways to advertise your business, shop, services, and parts on the MR2
Message Board. We have the following areas available where a banner or
ad can be placed.
Automotive ads ONLY. The owner / admin can accept other types of ads at
his discretion. Absolutely NO adult ads will be accepted.
- Top banner
- rotation - This is located under the navigation bar and is
included in every page of the Message Board. Some off-site sections
do not include this. This is the best way to get you web site listed.
- Sponsors
Page - Located at http://www.mr2ownersclub.com/sponsors.asp
is a copy of all ad banners. This gives the users one central place
to access your site. This is included in the cost of the Top Banner,
and is available on its own at a reduced cost.
- Upper Right
Corner of Web Page - This is limited to Tire Rack, and for National Events.
- Bottom
of Message Board Pages - Limited to Barns & Noble.com and
/or Tire Rack Banners. Included will be Pay-Pal donation banner.
- Group Purchases
- All Group Buys will be fee based to post and run the GB. To participate
is free. All threads must be approved before posting.
- Vendors
Mall - A place for you as a shop to post any sales that you
may have, any special services that you are offering. Fee based per
ad. All ads must be approved before posting.
At this time tracking
of click throughs is not available. This may be something we implement
in the future.
Unlike most web sites
there are set fees that are made public. We are considerable less than
most big web sites. We offer different packages to fit your marketing
needs and budgets. Below is a list of our standard advertising rates.

- All companies
MUST be approved by the Admin before being accepted. Email wdstrongjr@racingstrong.com
- Please allow
up to 72 hours before ad is posted
- There will
be a $10 processing fee for any updates to banners, i.e. to replace
the banner with a new updated version, or to change URL'
Group Purchases
On September 1 2003 the Group Buy Forum
will close. All buys still taking place must be done through email.On
September 1 2003 a new Group Buy forum will be opened up. This will be
a pay only forum.
- Existing
Top Banner Advertisers will have unlimited ads.
- If
you are not a top banner Advertiser it will cost $10 per Product
Type for you to advertise. For example: Seats, shocks,
spoilers kits etc. Whole store ads will not be allowed, nor will ads
containing full product lines, unless the poduct line is basically
one type of product like Koni shocks, or Blah Blah Race Seats.
- Feeler
ads will also cost $10.
- There
will be no refunds once the ad is posted.
- Before
you can post I will need the following:

- Payment
in full per product either by Paypal to wdstrongjr@racingstrong.com
or by company check made out to:

- If
you will need an Invoice we will need to know that as well.
- Once
the first payment has cleared the bank we will allow subsequent ads
to be posted the day we receive payment.
Pay-Pal is the quickest way of payment.
- Anyone
posting a group buy will be considered a business and as such will
need to make the payment.
- You may
not post a group buy if your feedback falls below 50%.
- All ads will
be approved by either Aimee Strong or Bill Strong
- Signatures
- You may post
a link to your web site in your signature, and a few products. You
will not be allowed to exceed the signature rules of the Message
Board.
- Posting prices
in your signature is NOT allowed
- No fees will
be charged to put your company in your signature
- Spaming the
Massage Board just to get your signature out there is totally unacceptable.
If you do this you will be charged a us$25.00 Signature Fine. By
posting your signature ad you accept this rule.
- Buyers
and Sellers Feedback Forum
- We understand
how important your feedback is. We advise that you keep an eye on
this forum and clear up any issues that may pop up. You may contact
a mod or admin to help sort out any problems.
- We will not allow
any business to solicit or pad their feedback. Please use your own
web site for this. Any posts like this will be moved to our deleted
post forum for further review.
- We are here to
help you, please do not take advantage of our services.

will be 400x60 pixels
If you don't have a banner ad that is suitable for posting, we
suggest using Thomas Design
When you apply for
your ad placement we will need some information from you.
